"We can tell you all day about our 100% natural, unadulterated botanicals — but our favorite critics proved it best!

Cats have an extraordinary sense of smell and zero interest in artificial perfumes. When we brought our pilot journals home, our curious cat Diva immediately leaned in for a deep, investigative sniff, fascinated by the texture and genuine scent of alpine hay and herbs.

What we did not expect from Diva, though, was the coffee addiction!"

Our Partnership with Organoid

Bridging Alpine Nature & Architectural Design

The heart of every Aroma Cover journal lies in its raw botanical surface. Born in Fließ, Tyrol (Austria), ORGANOID GmbH has pioneered sustainable interior surfaces since 2012, handcrafting 100% natural coatings from regional alpine raw materials.

When I first encountered these extraordinary surfaces at a Building Materials Expo, I was captivated by their texture and natural fragrance. Partnering with Organoid allowed us to scale biophilic principles down from large-scale architectural walls to an intimate, everyday companion you can hold in your hand.

100% Raw Botanicals: Real alpine meadow hay, vibrant blue cornflower petals, soothing herbal tea mixes, fragrant red rose petals, and warm upcycled coffee grounds.

Pure & Unadulterated Fragrance: The delicate aroma comes entirely from nature — free from artificial dyes, synthetic fragrances, or chemical additives.

Ecological Binding Agents: 100% Biodegradable & Non-Toxic. The binder is entirely free of biocides, plasticizers, solvents, heavy metals, and PVC. This allows the final raw surface layer to remain fully compostable.

Sustainable Backing: Applied onto natural flax fleece or flexible carrier materials engineered for lasting durability.

Cornflowers thrive along field margins across Europe and are true all-rounders: valued as medicinal plants, as natural color accents in teas, and as striking elements in Organoid's natural surfaces. Natural hand-cut alpine hay combined with vibrant, pressed petals of sunflowers, daisies, lavender, cornflowers, and heather. Naturally sweet, herbal, and field-scented.

The alpine hay comes directly from the regional mountain meadows of Tyrol. This means that transport distances are very short – in line with Organoid's commitment to genuine, active sustainability. Together with colourful petals from daisies, roses, cornflowers, heather, lavender and sunflowers, the hay is processed by hand into exquisite natural surfaces.

Care & Cleaning Guide

Preserving Your Botanical Keepsake

Because our covers are made of authentic pressed organic botanicals, customers often ask how to maintain them over time. Organoid surfaces are engineered to be resilient, practical, and remarkably low-maintenance.

Routine Cleaning: To remove dust simply wipe the organic cover surface gently using a damp, lint-free cloth. Coarse brushes, aggressive cleaning agents and chemicals should be avoided.

Moisture Care: Try not to keep the journal in humid spaces for a long time. While journaling in the bathtub might seem like a fun idea, avoid submerging the journal in water or soaking the raw fibers.

Preserving Natural Fragrance: To keep the natural alpine scent fresh for years, store your journal in a dry room away from direct, harsh continuous sunlight when not in use.

Saving it from your cat: It might be tempting for your cat to sniff and bite your journal, and that is totally okay. The Organoid materials are food-safe certified. However, if you want to preserve your journal for years, keep an eye on your cute pets!

Allergy-Friendly Certification

Watch out: sneeze-free enjoyment!

A common question when working with real alpine hay, grasses, and flower petals is whether they trigger seasonal allergies. You can enjoy your journal with complete confidence. You can find the test results on Organoid's official website.

Certified Suitable for Allergy Sufferers: Organoid surfaces undergo rigorous laboratory testing to ensure safety in enclosed living and working spaces.

Zero Allergenic Emissions: Comprehensive allergen detection tests confirmed that no allergenic emissions or active pollens are released from the finished botanical surface.

Safe Daily Interaction: The organic raw materials are permanently bound during processing, allowing you to touch, hold, and inhale the natural fragrance without worrying about hay fever or seasonal sensitivities.
